It embodies the spirit of struggle and the character and strength that develops as a result of meeting fierce resistance. It speaks to those who understand what it feels like to be estranged and treated unworthy of the most common unalieable rights. It represents the process of becoming self-assured in one’s identity and the many pitfalls that lie along the way.
  
  The sound of Black Champagne is rooted in the soul of the 70’s fused with the revitalizing force of Hip Hop. It skirts the boundaries of space while keeping you firmly earth bound with penetrating bass resonances and steady rhythmic pulses. Syrupy keyboard arrangements and silky string sections accompany heavenly vocal layers that give you just enough to desire more each time. “It’s pretty and black.....soft, elegant and sensual.”
  
  The brain child of Black Champagne is producer/songwriter Jeremiah Williams who built on the legacy created by friendship and music comraderie shared with once fellow group members. While much has changed since it’s inception and the dynamics of the group greatly altered, Jeremiah sought a way to bring to the world a glimpse of their potential, recorded and cultivated over a 15 year period.
